Friday, July 18th has been named International Authors' Day in honour of all of those hardworking men and women who write. They make us laugh, cry and sometimes even get us all steamed up.
Some inspire us to do better, be better, try harder and give of ourselves. Some make us want to fall in love. They all provide an escape.
As someone new to the writing community, I am humbled to be able to call myself an author.
